Hello and welcome to Malt Box!
Firstly, thank you for visiting the site as I know first hand how many other whisky blogs, twitter feeds and Vlogs there are out there so it's great that you've taken the time to visit.
Malt Box is run by me, Andy, a 20 something whisky fan and former Chairman and founder of the Manchester Whisky Club. Here at Malt Box you'll be able to watch a new review every week as I work my way through both some of the world's best loved and often unknown whiskies.
I originally started reviewing whiskies back in 2011 under the tag 'Affordable Whisky Blog' which then changed to Malt Box in 2012. Sadly due to a lack of spare time and other commitments I had to put the blog on the back burner but now it's back and with a vengeance!
On the site as well as whisky reviews sourced from both my own modest collection and samples, there will be opinion posts and others about whisky news and releases. In all honesty there might be a lot of opinion posts...
Given that this is starting from the ground up again it will take a while to get a decent amount of reviews but with these being posted once or sometimes even twice a week you'll see a fair few over the course of the year.
